The Square, Self Catering Holiday Cottage

The Square holiday cottage

This beautifully presented self-contained holiday cottage was once a wing of Ardnacross House. Comfortably sleeping 6 people, this property combines all modern conveniences with a striking eighteenth century charm, making it the ideal base for a perfect family holiday on the Isle of Mull.

The property is ideally situated for exploring the Island; and the sea, with a wealth of wild life and wildflowers is just a short walk away. The picturesque town of Tobermory is a mere 10-minute drive away and offers a host of family friendly days out, including activity mornings at Tobermory chocolate factory, whale watching, seafishing and diving.

The earliest actual record we have for Ardnacross is from a census taken in 1784. At that time the main house here was the Farm House which was one of the first two story houses on Mull. All the land which extended to about 4000 acres belonged to the Duke of Argyll.
