About Ardnacross Farm

Situated on the North East coast of the Isle of Mull, Ardnacross, a beautiful working farm of 1200 acres rearing Aberdeen Angus cattle, is home to our delightful self catering accommodation. Surrounded by panoramic views of the Isle of Mull and the Sound of Mull. Ardnacross has 2 miles of sea frontage and has been in our family for almost 70 years.

We are a friendly working farm, with plenty of people around to offer help and advice about birds, wild life and anything going on on the farm. The area has an abundance of wildlife including red deer and white tailed and golden eagles. Along the coastline puffins, dolphins, porpoises and otters are frequently spotted.

With 2 rivers and sheltered coves, ideal for picnicking, Ardnacross is an ideal location for a family holiday.

Circa 1985, all the buildings on the farm were extensively restored by the Forrester family, including the construction/conversion of three more houses. This established the farm as the successful enterprise and family home that it is today with four houses, three of which are let for holiday letting, a major fish farm site which is leased to Scottish Seafarms, and a small beef and sheep farm.
